Thursday Night Arrival

  • Welcome to Nashville!

Assuming you spent the day traveling, arriving around dinner time. No need to change or get dressed up. If you want to make the most of your time while you’re here, feel free to change! Drinks will come after your dinner.

It’s right around the corner so may be easier. If you don’t care to dress up…. we listen and we don’t judge here in Nashville. It’s the best part of vacation, you do what you want!

You’re headed to Puckett’s Grocery. One of Nashville most popular BBQ joints in town. Atmosphere is laid back, music and somewhere you can go right off the plane or out of the car. You’re in the South, have to start with BBQ of course!

    I recommend:

Pimento Cheese Bits and Fried Green Tomatoes to start

Smoked Meatloaf, BBQ Platter, Piggy Mac or Redneck Buritto for your meal and OF COURSE…

deep fried brownie sundae for dessert (shhh. you’re on vacay).

  • I hope you enjoyed your southern cooked meal, our way of sayin’ welcome in the South.

To keep it simple tonight, head down the street to “Printer’s Alley.” This may end up being a place you want to come back to! But tonight, it’s just getting you warmed up for the weekend. It’s about a 2 min walk from Puckett’s and you will spend the rest of your night here, have so much fun!

You will not even feel like you’re in Nashville. (It’s a vibe.)

Below are the bars to stop into:

    Bourbon Street Blues Bar

    Lonnie’s Western Room

    The Whiskey Shot

    Dirty Little Secret

    Alley Taps

Day 1 - Friday

  • Good Morning!

I hope you enjoyed Printer’s Alley! I’m sure you worked up an appetite and are ready to tackle the day.

Stop 1: We are starting the day off at Buttermilk Ranch (they don’t take reservations, be prepared but worth it… you can get on the waitlist on yelp. Go shop while you wait!)

The day begins with brunch at Buttermilk Ranch. Hands down, one of the restaurants in Nash. IMO.. oh, and when you go, forget about calories.

Recommendations: Loaded Ranchers as a starter. (Potatoes, pork belly, queso, chives, ranch.)

For coffee... can’t forget that. the iced strawberry matcha with chocolate milk OR Honey Lavender latte. but my favorite drink of all there, the Nashville sunrise juice. YUM.

If you’re a drinker, (I'm not) but I have heard cocktails here are a must, at least try one!

For your meal, it depends on what you’re feelin. I'm more of a lunch/brunch girl. If i had to choose a breakfast item under the "what’s crackin" it would be the corned beef has skillet. for the lunch menu, I’m a big burger girl so I will always go for a burger! Their burger is delish!!! but... you’re in nashville. Gotta get the chicken and biscuits at least once.

For sides, you’ll see. Tons of options. Hard to narrow it down so going to have to go with your gut in the moment.

And of course, don’t forget to tip your server 😊

  • (You will need to book ahead of time)

Bathhouse will be a private experience for just the two of you. They now have two options!

“Our signature Bathhouse includes Himalayan salt sauna, steam room, large 104* salt water soaking pool along with locker rooms is rented by the hour for private reservations. The candlelit room is our larger option and can accommodate one to 10 people of your choosing.”

Click HERE to see the bathhouse or the sauna option and book your reservation.

  • (You will need a reservation)

Whew! I bet that got steamy ;)

I hope you enjoyed that and took time to decompress and full disengage from any worries or stress you are carrying with you.

I’m sure you are probably ready for a drink! PERFECT, jump in an Uber or your car and head to Liquor Lab. You’re in for a treat, this will be fun!

“At Liquor Lab, the power to craft the perfect cocktail is placed firmly in your hands. Our classes are guided by world-class bartenders who walk you through the process of shaking, stirring, and sipping the perfect drink. It's not just a class, it's a fun-filled experience with cocktails and good company!”

  • Ophilias

I hope you’re hungry! Next stop is lunch at Ophilia’s!

    I recommend:

    Apps for the table:

Caesar salad and and whipped ricotta

Entree: Totally sharable! Either the Bacon Affumicato OR Spinach and Cheese Calzone.

and of course, save room for TIRAMISU.

  • At this point of the day, we have options.

    Option 1: Trolley Tour

Hop-on hop-off tours in Nashville offer a convenient and fun way to explore the city's top attractions at your own pace. These guided trolley or bus tours make stops at iconic spots like Broadway, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Ryman Auditorium, and Centennial Park. You can hop off at any stop to explore and then catch the next ride when you're ready to continue. With live narration from knowledgeable guides, these tours provide interesting facts and stories about Music City, making them a great option for first-time visitors and locals alike.

Option 2: Country Music Hall of Fame if you’re into that kind of thing! Very informative and interesting! I mean we are in the heart of country music.

Option 3: Walk about 5th and Broad. This is the spot on the corner of 12/30 club. Shopping, people watching, Broadway walkin. Place to kill time until it’s time to go get ready for the night!

  • Head back to the hotel / Air B and B to get ready for the night!

Any of these places will need reservations but I know there are times when something sounds good, here are 3 options to choose from. Can’t go wrong with any. If you are looking for an experience… go to House of Cards. Crazy.

Start off with before dinner cocktails at the one and only LA Jackson Rooftop.

Then instead of doing apps at your dinner spot of choice, head to the Marsh House for apps and another cocktails. Were doing a “Nashville progressive dinner” LOL

Dinner will be at one of the following!! All are a pricey but you’re on vacay! One fancy dinner is always good for the soul :)

    Mr. Pauls Chophouse $$$

House of Cards (Magic dinner- speak easy!) $$$$$

Kayne Prime (Best steakhouse in Nash) $$$$$

    Eddie V’s (Good seafood) $$$$$

  • Tonight is the night to get your Broadway fix! Make sure you drink water and have a Liquid IV before bed.

If you wanted to hit a little bit of everything, I would suggest starting one side of Broadway and working your way down one side. Acme Feed and Seed, by the River is a good starting point, Tootsies will be your halfway point and Bluebird Cafe would be your ending spot (if you make it that far!)

NOW, when you make it to the 12/30 club, look for Pushing Daisies! This will be under 5th and Broad, a good speak easy!!

You may find a spot you prefer and stay there. You can’t go wrong at any of the bars. Okay, well some of them you can but you will know pretty quick which one’s those are.

If there are any with a line… more than likely, it’s worth the wait! You never know who country stars will show up at their bar. You will end your night on Broadway, unless you need a sweet treat.

  • (Last stop of the day if needed)

If you have a sweet tooth, head up to 5th and Broad (where you had lunch) there is a Jenni’s Ice Cream.. thank me later.

Day 2- Saturday

  • Last day best day!

Hopefully you slept in, may not be feeling great but I have the best place for you to go to get that hangover food. :)

Stop 1 of the day! Biscuit Love

You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu… all I have to say is… GET BISCUITS.

If your looking for something lighter, they have a “lighter” option… and it’s actually good! (The Lindstrom is good).

Eat a lot! You can walk it off to your next stop.

  • This next stop is so cool, not something you see everyday. You are going to make your own hat, exactly how you want it at Rustler Hat Co.

It’ll be one of a kind!

It’s a little pricey but worth it, you can wear it anywhere and year round. The best part is they have booze AND you don’t have to worry about getting it home, they will ship it.

Gotta check this place out. It’s a cool non traditional little day date activity.

  • Picture Opportunity!

You have to at least get a picture at the famous, “What Lifts You” wing mural!

It’s right around the corner from Rustler. Once you get your picture, you’ll go about 300ft to “The Pub” for a quick beer or cocktail.

Don’t eat here! You have lunch plans.

  • Time to eat! Head down to lunch. Depending on what you are in the mood for, there are three great option that are walking distance from here.

    Superrica- Tacos / Nachos/ Fajitas / Quesadillas

Gumbo Bros- Gumbo/ Po Boys / Baskets

The Pub - A little bit of everything! Burgers / Salads/ Fish/ Sandwiches

  • Time to chill!

    You’re going to Pinewood Social.

This is going to be a fun relaxing way to wind down, enjoy each others company but not be elbow to elbow with people. Grab a cocktail here while you bowl. This has a mini bowling alley area, it’s a good time.

    You will need a reservation**

  • Head back to the Air B and B to get ready!

Tonight is a night out in one of the suburbs called Arrington.

It’s our version of our “wine country.” You will uber here! It’s quite the experience. Arrington Vineyards is a place to feel like you escaped reality.

It’s very family oriented, there are many acres for you to sit and listen to music, grab a bottle of wine, enjoy the views, people watch, have good conversation and eat some good food.

They have food trucks most of the time but they also have a little store with charcuterie boards/plates. There are two separate stages so make sure you check both out! You will end day 3 here.

***If you don’t want to go that far from Nashville, Cheekwood is another option.

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is a beautiful 55-acre destination in Nashville, offering a variety of experiences for visitors. You can explore themed botanical gardens, walk scenic trails, and enjoy stunning seasonal displays like spring tulips and holiday lights.

The estate also features rotating art exhibits, a sculpture trail, and a historic mansion with galleries. Families can enjoy interactive activities in the Children’s Garden, while nature lovers can relax in the peaceful Japanese garden or along woodland paths. With year-round events, concerts, and workshops, Cheekwood is a perfect spot for a day of art, nature, and relaxation.

Day 3- Sunday

  • Whew, what a weekend. If you have time before the airport or your drive home, I recommend going to 2 Hands for breakfast/brunch. Good area to walk around if you have a little bit more time to burn.

    I recommend:

    Crispy brussel sprouts to start

For the meal, Acai Bowl always OR the breakfast Buritto.

We enjoyed having you in Nashville! Come back and keep checking this site for your next trip as it will constantly be updated :)
